This Bracket is for mounting aftermarket Headlights on Early Sportster / FX / Superglides
Uses lower tree, tube pinch bolts for mounting Center to center distance is aprox 4 3/4"
Machined in our shop from 6061-T6 Aluminum flat bar.
Outside dimensions- 6 1/4" L x 3/8" Thick x 2 5/8" H
Headlight Bracket weight is 5.1 ounces.
Attaches with two 3/8-24 Stainless Steel Socket Head Screws which are included

A little information on our headlight mounting bracket
We are currently selling the bracket in unfinished, or raw, as machine finish. We are doing this to keep cost down for the home builder. The parts you see in the photos were finished here in the shop with 320 grit sandpaper and fine Scotchbrite pads. A little elbow grease and you have a nicely finished part. The part can be painted, glass beaded, anodized or any other finish that will adhere to Aluminum.
Depending on what headlight you intend to use you may want to cut a groove so the headlight base will lock into our bracket. The groove is cut .080" deep and has perfomed well on our personal bikes. To get the width dimension just measure the base of the mounting point on your headlight and cut the width in the mounting bracket about .010" wider. We can machine the groove for you here in the shop if you supply us with the dimensions, the charge is $10.
